The rarest gem you haven’t heard of

Musgravite was first discovered in 1963, and today no more than 14 mined specimens of this mineral are known to have jewelry value.

Musgravite belongs to the group of minerals - taafeite and does not differ from it in appearance. Only within the walls of the laboratory do gemologists manage to figure out which stone is in front of them - taafeiite or musgravite.

The cost of one of the rarest stones on the planet reaches $35,000 per carat. So far, the largest stone mined weighed about 6 carats.

So consider how rich its owner has become.
